Tawhirimateas trip to the museum

on wednesday we went to the museum and learnt about heaps of different taonga and musical instruments from back in the days when our great great great great great great great grandparents were alive and they could have made these! so as we got of the bus we went to sit down on the grass patch so i drank my probio and bob was right it does not fill me up so there were the aunties introducing themselves so after that we were lead to the room where the program was starting so there were several objects on the table which were the taonga so we all sat down and listened about the special treasures so there was this shell horn called the putarata the auntie blew it and it sounded pretty cool so after that we tested other instruments and then we made a puriri hua first we go string then there was a hole in the piece of wood so then we stick it in there and tie a knot so after that we did some designs i did the north island and a maori spiral i did them all black so then it looks cultural and cool so after that we went outside to test some porotiti bob mastered it at first then riley then me but i would give me a 34 out of 100 because to hear it your would have to put it up on close to your ear so you can hear it so after we go back inside the bus is`nt outside so we have a little walk around the museum the merchandise there are expensive this big ancient sea creature skull that is 7000 thousand dollars! that is a lot but it is worth the money! soe little cups were 55 dollars if i had a extra 5 bucks i would buy it! so after looking at the new exhibits i decide to go back to where mrs hall is and some other students oh and at the boat part is quite loud and i kinda got involved in it a bit and yeah but that was before but now so yeah a little bit later the bus arrives and we all get on to the bus and got back to school.
